After giving my car a good thrash today and doing my best Dukes of hazzard impression, taking off over a hump in the road then smacking the front of the car down then the back. My rear spoiler no longer goes down either manually or automatically. Its stuck up if you excuse the expression. Does any one know how I can fix this quickly or at least get it to drop down in case it rains tonight and I end up with an engine bay full of water. Car is a 1990 964 c2.
Thanks Simon.

Think its works via an ABS sensor switch which detects the speed of the car so as to raise and lower it. Could be the switch is now knackered due to General Lee antics or a wire may have come off the switch under impact.

Thanks I've also had a look in the fuse box in case the impact knocked one out, everythings fine there though. ABS sensors etc a bit out my league so a trip to specialist tomorrow looks in order.

Just been to specialist and it seems I didn't half give it a ttting, so much so that some bits of the spoiler have gone missing. He's having it in next week to sort it out. So you can all stop worrying now and go about your business.
Thanks Simon.
