Any of you guys used them? If so what was your impression?

I've been hearing good things so wondered if they might be worth adopting as my indie of choice.

Any replies appreciated!

Hi

Hmm...thats interesting, I didnt realise that...

So we can say if an Indie is good but not if one is awful ?

Why not ???

In my PCGB forum I moderate , we would NEVER censor a post that said an Indie was bad...so I cannot quite understand why it apparently happens here ??

I would be interested in hearing the reasoning behind it as the original poster was just asking advice and what looked like a valid question....

All the best Brett

Hello stay away I went to look at a 911 asked a few questions e.g about the miles and engine work .This answer made me run away it went like this Porsche engine do not need any engine work done on them after 100000. Like a top end rebuilt etc.End of the day its your money your call .Whenever you buy a car its a risk

Brett, there are many and varied reasons and the decision is made at a far higher level than me. If you want to know the reasoning, search the forum under 'naming and shaming' as the topic is as old as the hills, or write an email to info@pistonheads.com and I'm sure the official explanation will be forthcoming.

You will appreciate that the PCGB forums are relatively closed compared to Pistonheads, where anyone can view the posts without the need to join.

At a guess piston heads main income is through advertising revenues, so its not going to want to have people posting negative threads about people who are existing customers or potential customers. PCGB website is mainly self sufficient so they're not to bothered about upsetting anyone as its members money that finances it in the first place.
