Price seem reasonable on this 993TT?

What do you chaps make of this - decent price or not?

It wouldn't necessarily be my first choice of colour but there you go...!
Anyone been to see it?

So, I agree looks nice and really on the cheap side for a RHD tt, though as you say colour combo not perfect.
Two things strike me from the pics:
1. off-side exhaust looks a little misaligned
2. I thought all tt's had the digital sound pack - this one doesn't seem to have it (from the door speakers) - it may be correct I just don't know

Hi everyone. I'm Victoria and new here! (996 GT2 03 plate)
I'd give it garage room! She's a babe! And grey is a better interior colour combo than black IMO. She must have had a retrim ~ you can't do +70k miles and have interior looking that pristine no matter how careful you are. I have a friend who had a 993TT from new which was always going wrong ~ and as we all know when they go wrong, boy do they go wrong! Can you get the seller to put it through the 111point Porsche check and add the extended warranty?
Keep us posted!

tertius, I think you mean the enhanced hifi, which was standard fit on the C4S and TT. This car definitely has it - the door pods are correct.
The tip alignment should be easy to do, although the tips are aftermarket ovals.
Colour combo is definitely not the best, Iris, blue dash and carpets with marble

I keep mulling over the idea of going to see this silver one at Verdi's - hell of a motor for the money (provided there are not any stories....)
£34,500???
unbelievably cheap

Looks a cracker for the money.
Re the exhaust ovals, the ad says it has a sports exhaust, and from personal experience it can be a right toil to get the tips correctly orientated for some reason on aftermarket systems (I had a Techart sports exhaust for ref).
From memory you could have 3 radio options - standard, upgrade pack, and the digital Nokia sound pack.
Need to check when if / when the turbos have been refurbed, last clutch change, last brake disc change, etc ... and barter accordingly.
Get an inspection done by a good indie, and away you go?!
Cheers

I *think* this is a car I have seen and driven. The last owner was looking to sell it. He needed something bigger (new baby). I had it checked out at Unit Eleven Porsche - Jonny found lots of bits and pieces that needed doing (despite an OPC not noticing any of them only a few months earlier - they just noticed discs & pads etc, which the owner promptly had done). The owner did have all items (mainly suspension arms, bushes, geo etc) done except one, plus had Leathercare restore the interior so now it is a really good example. However, the LSD was not working properly, but on the grounds that it was a) expensive (nearly £1000) and b) not unusual and plenty of 993TT owners are driving around with cars like this in blissful ignorance, it didn't get done.
I would have taken it on sale or return but he didn't have another car to use and I couldn't offer him enough to buy it outright from him and allow me a sensible margin.
If someone's interested in buying it, call Jonny at Unit Eleven (www.uniteleven.co.uk) and check if it's the same car (seems highly likely) and for peace of mind have him re-inspect it (certainly not an OPC
), but I would think you'll end up with a really good car with (aside from the LSD) no jobs due any time soon so minimal future running costs (as best as one can predict). Enjoy!!

With you on this one...I am biased (of course) - my 993 is Iris Blue. Only problem is colour matching - Iris Blue is a pearlescent / mica paint rather than a metallic, and its a b*gger to blend in any minor repair work etc - see seperate thread under "993 makeover"
