I think this topic has been discussed before here on PH, I have recently bought a 2003 996TT, the car is standard at the moment, I have bought a replacement K&N panel filter - as the standard paper one looks very restrictive, next I plan to replace the dump/divertor valves - I was wondering if anyone else knows which is the best - I've heard the Forge recirc valve is favoured - is this a worth while modification over the standard valves? after this I plan to change out the exhaust and manifold for the FVD system - followed by the FVD stage 1 DME (490 BHP) again just looking for feed back if anyone has tried these parts.
P.S does anyone have an installation guide for the Forge divertor valves on the 996 TT.
Many Thanks.

I wouldn't recommend doing the DV's yourself unless you're pretty experienced, you'll probably find a how to on renntech.

I think all the alloy aftermarket DV's are going to be better than the original, mine are from EVOMS. Don't expect too much of a noticeable difference from the change.

I think the EVOMS DVs are Bailey items ?
Double check before fitting a KN filter, they're oiled IIRC and can thus cause contamination issues with the already problematical MAFs.

According to the K&N website, this is not the case .... but then I guess they would say that.
