Looking for a road, no-race, original 1998 993 GT2 Evo with 450 hp and LHD (no RHD) with full service history, no roll cage and never raced. Difficult to find? I know.

Any help or suggestion?

Thanks in advance. Here I stay and wait.
Price is no matter, if the car is really right.

H+S have one on their website for about EUR 200K - don't know if it's still available though. Link here: www.germansportscars.de/shoper.html

Thanks, but the H+S is not available yet, perhaps in the following months, but it is not sure...

I think all 1998 Evo are LHD and have a complete rollcage.

Approximately 20 road going EVO cars, with steel doors, 450 bhp. They didn't have cages as standard, maybe you're thinking about the GT2 evo race cars regarding the cages.

why the obsesion with it being an evo? they ran out of proper doors so stuck on lardy steel ones and gave it 20bhp more to compensate buy a proper lightweight one... ive not heard of ANY running only 430bhp...

Young Francis, are you endeavouring to venture to the wonderful Belgian resort called Spa, in the calendar month of June on the 6th and 7th day. I'm sure that since a certain Mr Lokie has played with your beast, you must be keen to try and emulate his skills.?

I'm going to go and hide in the corner, mine is as it left the factory, early 430 lw car and not an evo.

The evo that sold recently via gt classics from what I gather had a bolt in cage which was installed by its owner, using vic's as a template. My guess is that it could have been removed? I think the previous owner is a friend of many on here someone else may be able to answer that better than myself.

I have the new owners contact details if you wanted to make a silly offer, as you say money no object.

My guess is that it could have been removed? Sure, if you'd wanted to create the world's first 993GT2 cabriolet! I think the previous owner is a friend of many on here someone else may be able to answer that better than myself.
