997 c2 s lowered suspension or PASM

I have searched for this topic as I know it may have been covered before however I can’t find any of the orginal posts – apologies for bringing it up again.

Looking to get a used 997 c2s – had one before and found the suspension in sport mode almost un-driveable on the road

Seen a few cars around with factory lowered suspension – does this means they don’t have PASM and how does the lowered suspension compare to the sport setting on PASM cars ?

Pretty sure the lowered suspension option does not have PASM, although it does have a limited slip diff.
Not sure how it compares with the Sport mode, but I had an early C2 with factory sports suspension/LSD, and although very firm I found it fine for most types of roads.
