996 C4S Seat

Is it possible to relocate the seats in the 996 to move further back as in the 993 I am 6ft 4in and would love an extra inch!

I have the same problem and have asked on various
forums without luck. Apparently you can't adjust the runners.
The only suggestions I got were to get GT3 bucket seats as they
are thinner and lower ( but i don't think my bum will fit) or
you can get some of the padding removed from your current seats,
or (and this is the one i'm going with) install the GT3 console
delete kit. This basically removes the lower centre console and
tidies up the gap that's left. It gives a lot more room for your
clutch leg. I don't know about you but my leg rubs against the
console side when I operate the clutch.
