I'm struggling to deeide whether to sell my 1992 944s2.

Cracking car but company car means I can't justify it any longer and would like it to go to someone who'll enjoy it. Having said that it's my first Porsche and I would love to keep it.

Has FSH (last 3 with JZM, JAZ, Northway - others OPC), 103k, colbalt blue, blue half leather interior, new clutch, MOT, not modified at all etc but does need new tyres and belt change.

Any idea/views on what I should be asking for it? My gut instinct is about £5K in current state - if it had belts and new tyres I would think about £6.5K? Am I being realistic

Sounds a bit high, depends how good it is honestly, if it is a really nice example then probably yes.

If it's in good fettle, and it sounds as though it is, I think the asking price sounds reasonable.
How is the car cosmetically?

IMHO you'd be a fool to let it go if it's a good one mind

sounds like it's nearing good 944t money there, you may have age on the cars side, but the turbo version simply blows the S2 out the water. Why drink low % beer?.............

It's a really nice example!!

I was contated by someone who said they wanted it as a track day car. He seemed like a nice chap, came round looked at it and has offered £4k (mind you he does work for a local porsche dealer). I'm not inclined to let it go for that as IMHO it is worth more.

If you want to flog it, Barry at broadwaterclassics.com keeps asking me if I know of any nice 944S2s for sale as he has a buyer itching for one. Obviously, I don't know your car and I would probably advise said gent to get a 968 anyway, but if it's a top car, top money could be had if it's a good 'un
