Well it's been off and on in the classifieds for ages. I was a little taken aback after 9 months at the depreciation hit I'd taken so I decided to get shot. But really it was that long before I saw the light and connected with the car adopting the "screw depreciation look at that car I get to drive every day" philosophy.
A couple of months ago I reported that I'd had the best drive so far in that car, but since then I feel like making the same post every time I get out in it.
As far as depreciation goes it seems to have levelled out now anyhow -- I've being offered pretty much the same trade since towards the end of last year when I started looking for a GT3/TurboX50/TurboS or GT2 to replace it with.

I would love to take a look at it, but alas I need to shift my C2 facelift before I can get into something else, so Joel if you are out there and are keen on taking a C2 into stock give me a shout.

Superb looking Turbo, and the colour Id choose.
Dark Navy metallic's the colour 993 Im looking for, although not yet a Turbo.

slightly off thread and in support of Joel's comments, I went to see a 53 turbo for sale today. nice price, reasonable spec, for sale in a non opc non specialist garage.
despite asking good retail money for the car, it had stone chips like you have never seen, the two front tyres needed replacing and it needed the 40000/4yr major service. not very good value afterall....

yeah, perhaps we need someone to take my car off me at a damn good price, me find some extra cash down the back of the sofa to be able to afford yours, then you can buy SM's, and were all happy

perfect in every detail, except for me finding 10 grand down the back of the sofa....
996 Turbos have taken a price hit with the new 997.
Bt there's a huge price difference, and many car mags had the 996 Turbo down as their best ever, everyday Supercar.
If you look at the price of comparable performance cars, they (996TT's) can't continue to fall in price as they did.
Maybe the price fall was overdone ?
It's a lot of car for the money.

Hi Can you give me a bit of a description of the car please? Is that lapis or midnight blue? I have been talking to Joel about a turbo recently and have dealt with RSJ in the past. I can get cleared funds to you by the 25th if the price is right but would be keen to get the car looked at as well.

The car is subject to the OPC warranty, but of course you're welcome to get it checked out for extra peace of mind. But if there's anything mechanically wrong the nice Mr OPC will be pleased to fix it for you...
