i can't seem to get the dials to register more than 1.0 bar. I've tried full throttle across the rev range and have in various gears and engines speeds with the sport crono and sport pasm buttons lit up in red. the car is only just run in so this is the first time trying, pls can anyone help... do i need to go into the timing section on the main screen and turn something else on etc ???

thanks

I've had an idea - why don't Porsche make the overboost a subscription based option? You could 'top up' at cashpoints or newsagents paperbag

Is the 997TT meant to boost 1.0 bar?

It's obvioulsy new, why not just get it back to dealer or ask Jeff what's Wong?

If its the same as the 996TT, then the engine management will only take the boost it needs, this varies according to air-density, the 996 should register .8 bar but often you won't see more than .6 however hard you try!
