Bring your über-Porsche to Silverstone

A new independent servicing and tuning company for Porsches has opened for business at Silverstone, with even a Carrera GT making its way to 'the Home of British Motor Racing' for regular attention.

Fearnsport has been set up by marque experts Andy Fearns and Dom Colbeck to specialise in RS, GT and Turbo series Porsches. Its 2,200 sq. ft workshop is at Silverstone circuit, Northamptonshire, close to a wealth of specialist motorsport suppliers.

The company reckons it's got the latest diagnostic and servicing equipment, and offers all services from routine maintenance to full race car preparation. It's a member of the official Porsche trade parts programme, ensuring support and assistance from Porsche itself.

“We see ourselves as the spiritual home of the super -- or über -- Porsche,” said Fearns. “Everyone here has a close connection with Porsche Motorsport or with owning, driving or maintaining the fastest Porsche road cars. We would never turn away a Porsche of any kind, but our hearts definitely lie with the more interesting models. We must be one of the few independents trusted to look after a Carrera GT.”

The labour rate is £65 per hour, with menu pricing on standard parts and servicing.

"Say 'Cheese'"....

Good luck with the company, guys. When I'm rich enough, I'll bring my GT along.

I must say I'm very happy with all the work that Fearnsport have done for me, it really is a pleasure to have someone working on your car who cares about it and clearly has a wealth of experience to draw from.

I strongly recommend using Fearnsport.

Look's like someone's pinched Fearn's Kentucky bargain bucket. Should be re-named FrownSport

LOL... yes, Luca, given up the copywriting (for now at least) for the fresh challenge of starting a business. At least I can be my own client these days Hope you're well and the ad world is still treating you well.

£65 an hour is pretty reasonable; I'm sure some OPCs are almost double that... mind you, you get a better looking receptionist than at our place

Egbert, yup, he does tend to smile at carbon fibre things, his Audi Quattro upgrade catalogue and anything acquired from the A43 McDonald's drive thru facilities!

i can only guess either someone just asked him for 'a modest power hike', the A34 McDonalds has run out of McSalads or hes just seen someone has stolen the 22" spinners off his gt2.

LOL, you're just too fussy, Henry I simply thought filter coffee meant straining it through Fearns's oily BMC induction kit
