What are your views on the value of this car - 1997(P) ocean blue 993 carrera 4,70k miles, full porsche history, a load of factory extras, cruise, trip comp, 10 speaker stereo, 6 cd changer, engine sound upgrade, high level brake light spoiler, 6 speed manual, 4 previous owners, the car is on the original clutch, no dents, one small stone chip below the windscreen.
Should I be looking to take some money off as it is on the original clutch?
Thanks
G

If you're buying privately then get an independent inspection. You can then use this with authority to negotiate a discount on the clutch and who knows whatever else (eg tired suspension).
£25k is on the high side IMO, unless it is in exceptional condition.
I paid £25k last year for a 96 C2 with 75k miles, air con, 18" hollow spokes and a new clutch from a dealer.

I paid £25K last November for a 97 Targa with 77K miles, air con and a new clutch and brakes. Targas tend to go for a bit of a premium over Coupes so unless it's absolutely mint and needs nothing doing to it (unlikely, if it's on its original clutch - check the suspension too) it sounds a bit over the odds to me.
If you think the clutch may be approaching the end of its life have the car inspected by a porsche specialist who can give you a more reasoned opinion than us on here.
If thay say it is okay then pay the seller his asking price less whatever you can haggle off. If the inspection flags up a heavy clutch as a symptom of it being on its' way out use the report as a bargaining tool to negotaite a lower figure.
If you like the car and wouldn't want to lose it for the sake of a clutch which may last a few months yet pay the asking price.
