Just thought i'd get your attention - after all there's been quite a few of these kinda topics recently.

Anyway, I collected my baby yesterday from OPC Kendal. I've uploaded some photos to my new fotopic site. I actually took 150 odd photos on the day! I've also got some vids which i will post on You Tube.

http://porsche997gt3.fotopic.net/

The car is as expected - it looks fantastic, sounds fantastic, handles brilliantly.

The route I took was north up the A6 over Shap, then onto Pooley Bridge for food, then south through the Lakes over the Kirkstone Pass and past Windermere, then south on the M6.

I tried to vary my revs in different gears and touched 7000 rpm a couple of times. 2ND GEAR ACCELERATION IS FOOKIN AWESOME!! Its like warp factor 10 hehe

Right, i'm off out in it, later people

Yes, P & P the OPC in Kendal have been excellant throughout the process. Cannot fault them.

I'm running everything else in gently, the engine should be good for it from the start. I'm imposing a 7000rpm limit (which i've hit twice) until I get to 500 miles!!
