Battery Supplier ?
Discussion
I need a new battery for my 996tt. after reading the various threads on the subject, a Bosch seems to be the solution to the constant underperformance of the OEM item (this will be the third replacement).
Does anyone know of a decent Bosch battery supplier who can deliver?
Regarding 911 batteries, all I can say is that I've had many of them from my first in 1988 to my current TT and I've always had trouble with them constantly going flat when left for relatively modest periods of time. It seems ridiculous that 20 years later I still experience the same problems, and is typical that Porsche don't bother to deal with it. A bit like the RMS issue, carrying over from 996s to 997s. Why bother with sorting out problems when people are going to buy them anyway!
You'd think that I'd have got used to it by now wouldn't you

. If it's parked in driveway then you can leave in bonnet space next to battery and run cable into house/garage/shed etc
