Guys,

The sad day when the 993 was sold having been and gone, this is the new Dryburgh transport.

S4 Avant 4.2 V8 with some toys.

I have to say it's amazing to drive, totally anonymous, refined, quick, grippy, and bloody thirsty when you cane it.

Also I can actually get in and out of it with my injured back, so that's a bonus. Also man's best friend (my dog before any jokes appear) approves!

Nice looking Avant although you're going to have to bolt some Turbo's on to get to the claimed bhp figure... hehe

Now we're talking...

Check out www.millteksport.com/exhaust.products.cfm?variantid=162 something to really make that V8 sing.

Yep, although I'm reluctant to make it noisier, just make it faster - prefer the "stealth" approach!

Ok Andrew, i'll let you off on selling the 993 - that looks lick

How does it sound though, does the exhaust need *liberating*?

"That" would not make the V8 sing, this however might ..................

Sounds great - my mates up here in Scottishland agree.

I'll try to take some movies of it to post for the 'zorst note!

Yes, in truth.

It's not nearly as quick from 100mph - v.max.

However, at speeds that are actually useable on the roads, the chassis is SO much better than the B5. So you can really exploit the power better, and you feel confident of the car compared to the "woolly" feeling B5.

Nothing wrong with that
