Hi - my battery has been disconnected and the rad/cassette now is in CODE mode.

I have the code but not the instruction manual. I have owned a 3.2 previously and I recall that code the entering procedure is quite lengthy and you only get 4 attempts.

I should be indebted to anybody who can relay the correct procedure to enter the code.

^^This one is the German version of yours. It is quite similar, it only features the ARI function additionally afaik.

About twenty years ago, I had to enter the code in my dad's Blaupunkt Bremen, and it involved starting the entering procedure by pressing one of the DNR/Dolby/CPS/METAL or L/M/K/U-buttons (can't remember which one), and then entering the code by toggling each digit with the according number button 1/2/3/4 (for example for the code "3121" press 3×[1], 1×[2], 2×[3] and 1×[3]), and then finish with pressing the same button with which you started the procedure. My wild guess is that the initiation button is the [U]!

However, please don't try this procedure before someone with the correct manual confirms it, as -like you already mentioned- the tries are limited to four!

Finally got the answer

Assuming you have the code.

Press 1 repeatedly for first digit
Press 2 repeatedly for second digit
Press 3 repeatedly for third digit
Press 4 repeatedly for fourth digit

Then press < (LH of manual tuning toggle) to save.

Radio should now be working.
