for a 04/54 Turbo S, nice colour, black interior, rear sensors, 40k miles, FPSH, like new condition?

What about likely problems shifting it on in two years' time with 60k on it.

I've asked before but not this direct. Looking at it Saturday and I'd like some info please

an OPC recently shifted a 52 (facelift) TT with 50K on the clock for £52k. if that had been a 35k car they would have asked 60.

I know we are dealing with an "S" which were built in limited numbers which will shore up values but there is still alot of depreciation to come out of the cambridge car. I suspect you would be looking down the barrell of a £10k hit on whatever a 30k "S" would be worth at the same time

great spec (apart from the steering wheel) which will make it desirable as time goes on as some of the "S" had no options fitted at all as they were so well spec'd. still it seems odd to see a 100k car without a carbon or ali gear shifter fitted - which is the case on a lot of them

Phone a couple of other OPC buyers & get the car underwritten, then you will know the real value, they are very helpful guys & would also give you a likely value at 60k miles as well!

I wouldn't place a big premium on the S over a Turbo with the X-50 upgrade, all you get extra is cruise, silver dials, multi cd, painted alloys & of course FIRST GENERATION ceramics, which don't exactly have a good name on the durability front & cost a bank load of cash to replace. I'd guess at £59500 retail, 52k -ish trade!!?

Is it really first generation PCCB? I thought by late 04 they were on the second.

That's another worry of course -- I wonder if I could get some sort of assurance/guarantee for those brakes.

very doubtful indeed. they are not covered by the warranty. I would suggest you follow slippy's advice and remove the disks/pads and box them and fit s decent set of steels just retaining the yellow calipers.

when you are ready to sell the car refit the ceramics.

alternatively, make it a condition of the purchase that the supplying OPC replace the disks and pads all round especially as the car has covered a high mileage.....
