How Soon After You Got Your Porsche...

Me: 3 days
Really, mine wasn't very funny - it was depressing at best!
My girlfriend and I were walking back to the car after having been in a book store when a guy with his young family walks towards us. The kids (aged 3 or 4 at most) were carrying huge balloons which made it quite comical and led me to smile at them. The guy turns from looking at the car, looks at me, and then looks at the car again just as I opened it with the remote. Stares at me in the eye and mouths off.
What sort of brainless gimp would mutter such tripe in front of two women (one being what I would presume to be his wife), and even worse, in front of his two young kids? The telling thing was, his wife didn't react which indicates it's probably a common occurrence.
Ownership of the car hasn't started too well - on my second day of owning the car, somebody scratched it while it was parked in an under ground car park. Not keyed, and entirely possible it may have just been an accident where the perpetrator had no knowledge of marking it, but a pain in the arse all the same...
I find that when you own a 1965 911, dressed up to look like a 2.7RS, people generally feel 'good' about the car, and not jealous, even though she's in mint condition. I leave her in all sorts of places and she's never been scratched. In fact, the last time I parked near a bar, the bouncer offered to keep an eye on her

My Yellow Elise was keyed within a week! The anger i felt was like nothing before, if i had caught the guy or lady i would have gave them a serious doing!! Personally i would love a Speed Yellow 911 BUT i must admit that i am paranoid about the jelous B*****ds out there - Sad but True, may be thats why everyone gets them in conservative silver and black.
Third time out came across Mondeo man slap bang in the middle of a box junction, could have driven around him (just) but decided to let him come on out. He waved a thank you to the driver in the oncoming lane and gave me a bit off a look with no intention of recognising my kindly gesture. I mouthed "you're welcome" and I think he Called me "cute" although I could be mistaken as my lipreading is pretty sketchy at best.
Still haven't had the balls to actually let it out of my sight yet when out and about. As Eddie Murphy said in BH Cop "I'm going to eat, sleep and shit in the car" just as well it has leather seats.

Best comment i ever had was the other day. Roof off driving along the a12 and pull up at a set of lights. Some jumped up little nerd in his mums focus undoes the window leans over and shouts out... "what job do you do then" cracked me up, i just smiled and left him for dust as the lights turned green

Should have said you were a cashier in Tesco. That'd have stumped him.
