central locking...help needed

central lockings been working fine until today???????year 2000 996 tip......when i set off the car locks me in great,but now when i stop and take the key out it wont let me out?????i,ve got to put the egnition on and press the central locking button on the dash,so the red light goes off then it will let me out,and before it was just a double pull on the door handel from the inside and it would open????any ideas plz?????

Dodgy microswitch on the door handle? Most likely cause I reckon.

where abouts is that,,,in the door panel...and remember both sides are not working the same?????

check for water under passanger seat....alarm module is under the seat possible water ingress....
