I'm lucky enough to have been invited for a 911 drive, which I'll be doing on Thursday. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm wondering where I should go - any suggestion of decent roads in the Surrey area where I can really get a feel for the speed and handling?

Just don't go anywhere where you can kerb the wheels, that'll cost you £250! Oh the lovely small print in the documentation.

I had an Aerokitted 997 C4S which I took down to the Ace Cafe last month.

hi j-p,

i have a c4 on thurs/friday as well, from solihull..

thought i would give my known route up to north wales

via snowdonia a go, hopefully it will be wet and greasy,

making the comparison between this and my cup shod gt3

a bit more interesting.

regards

yak

Guarantee that you'll love it - most awesome thing on wheels - beware of the cheque book. Although I'd imagine your GT3's none too shabby either.

Don't any of you worry that you'll want to buy one?

I "only" have a 987 and I'm adamant that if I do get an invite for a test drive I shall say no simply because I don't want to step back into my car, which right now is the best car I've ever had, and start thinking "I wish..."

I've got a driving session at Milbrook soon. I wanted it in a Boxster as that's what I have and thought that would be most benifitial, none of the Boxster dates suited me so now it's in a C4s, ooooh big mistake yum
