Hi all
My wifes boxster s is due for its first m.o.t.,in early march, the car is march 2004 and has only covered 10,000 miles in total,it had a small service by opc in august by previous owner before he sold it to us in september with 5,000 miles showing.
Since we became the new proud owners we took it up to our local opc,for the purpose of pre warranty inspection, which it passed with no issues outstanding, hence an official porsche warranty was purchased in september.
Do i need to get it serviced again soon ,as im thinking of taking it back there for its first m.o.t.,and thought this could be done at same time, therefore just needing for us to renew warranty again in september, without any further servicing??
Im puzzled as i want to keep the service schedule correct if nothing else but to meet the warranty requirements, and the opc is suggesting a short service but is umming and arring about it being completely necessary??
replies and advice requred please...mike.

Servicing is every 2 years or 12000 miles which ever happens first.

Check your service schedule. Its in your set of books. And service your car according to it. You will definitely devalue it come resale time if you do not.
