My wife will no doubt leave me, my neighbours will hate me and I'll probably go deaf within 6 months but God I really need to get one of these:

Wasn't sure about tickover, but sounded great when blasted from a standing start.

Go on, do it!

Have you listened to this through a decent sound system?? I bought a Bose Companion 5 recently and I'm not so sure!! Sounds Good on Acceleration but on tick over sounds like it needs a new exhaust.

Reverted back to my usual set up and sounds cool.

I'd try and see one in the flesh.confused

I stuck Fabspeeds on my 996C4 and not only do they sound great they definetly free up a few more BHP and low dowm grunt. True about sounding like a blown exhaust on tickover though.

I have a set on my 993 and they are AWESOME! As was said before - fook the neighbours! I get a permanent grin on my face above 5,000 revs, and have my window down even when it's snowing just so I can hear the sound bouncing off the walls!

That's my problem... I live on a fairly quiet street and have to leave at 5.45am every morning. Even with the standard exhaust I don't think I'm the most popular guy on the street.

Darren.

Did you have any issues with the bypass pipes on your C4S? How were they for instance for motorway driving (major pain or ok)? Warranty issues?

In terms of fitting, can you leave the standard car mufflers on if I only want to bypass them (not looking to bypass cats or fit new cats at this point). Also, I've heard that the system is modular so you can simply remove the bypass pipes with 20-30mins when required? Who did your fitting?

Sorry for all the questions but am quite tempted and if they literally are a couple of hundred and can be fitted/removed easily then I'm very keen.

Cheers for any help.

If you get 'em I'll give you a month before you get fed up with the noise. They do sound great under accel, and would be a good purchase on a w/e toy, but a daily driver when you can't switch the loudness off would be a mistake me thinks.

But what do I know...................
