What u think of 911 turbo 3.3?
Discussion
There were two 3.3 Turbos...
- the one from the eighties through to 1991 ('bellows' front bumpers, black stone chip patch on the rear arches, fuchs alloys), called the 930 if I remember.
- the one from 91-93 (the Turbo 2) called something like the 965. Looks like a wide 964, curvy bumpers, cup wheels.
I haven't driven either of them, just 944 Turbos and normal 911s, so I would love to read a response too! May get one as next car (vs 964RS, 993 C2, Ultima etc etc).

My ex boss had a 1988 911 sse turbo cab i did a lot of miles in it , it was i think 1 of like 7 rhd made , great car , a bit sudden power delivery but not as bad as they are made out to be .
i think he paid like £115,000 for it then after the big bust sold it in 91 for like £44,000 now that what i call a loss, who said Porkers were a safe bet

I now have a 3.3 Turbo 2 having owned 2 non turbo 911s and a handful of 944s previously. There is a 3.6 Turbo 2 as well by the way. My Turbo 2 was chosen over a TVR Griffith. I'd driven a friends Griff 3-4 years ago when I owned my first 911 and was staggered by how quick it was so I thought I'd drive a Griff and a Turbo 2 back to back, the T2 won. I suppose there's very little between them performance wise but the Porsche is much better built and is very exciting, bordering on the manic to drive. I'd like a Griff and a T2 really, oh yeah and a 355 as well, but the Porsche is very entertaining. Mail me if you want more.
