Anyone know of a reason not to just call the Elephant 24 hour glass repair hotline and get them to take care of it ? I have a 996 Convertible, with the hardtop on it - though it's a bit breezy at the moment ....
nope
give eli a call. you will only have to pay your excess, your ncb will not be affected and your policy wont be loaded come renewal.

Thanks for the very quick reply, nothing doing till monday it seems. Will have to go and find a bit of plastic, some tape and a large baseball bat!
So the 24 hour helpline passes me onto the local RAC place, who tell me it's going to be 5-10 working days to order the glass in - thanks help.
Call Elephant back up and apparently you can also use National Windscreens. They were very helpful and have ordered the glass and are installing it wednesday.
Let's be honest 996s are not uncommon in London, maybe the last shipment of windows were lost in a ship disaster ...
