Anyone else been reading about this - searched and found no threads? H&R, RS Tuning and Jurgen Alzen getting together to try for a new registered road car speed record. They've taken a 997 turbo, cranked the power up to 1054 hp through just the rear wheels, lowered the roofline (looks nice but you'd have to be a bit dwarfy!), played with the suspension and intend to try and crack 400 kph (250 mph!).

Silly and meaningless à la 9ff, but hell it does look mean!

The chopped roof looks great from some angles, but clunky from others?

I'd like to see some more of it!

Looks to be faster than the Veyron is it?

Seems a lot of money for 250....later this year I will be going for 200 with my 21 year old 928 (on Nitrous)
I will also be attempting to beat the Veryon standing quarter record that stands at 10.00 seconds at 147 mph...and also the ALL Porsche record......
