New Tyres in Swindon?

Hey all,

My 996 C2 rear end seems to be getting a little slippy and twitchy (not feeling very grippy at the moment and nearly lost the back end a few time and wasnt even going stupid!!)so am thinking its probably time to get my tyres checked out.

Anyone know a decent place I can go to in Swindon (or surrounding area) to have them checked and get some new.

Am looking at Michelin Pilot Sport as having done a search they seem to get the most thumbs up! Also any idea what I shuould be paying?

i got new tyres for my C2 from Bathwick in Chippenham, a 15-min drive, but they generally are the cheapest place around here, and reasonable service (you do end up hanging around for a while, but I went back 3 weeks later as it didnt feel properly balanced and they sorted it with no hesitation)

I've used Bathwick in Stratton a couple of times - they were by far the cheapest when I bought 17" P-Zeros last year and they knew what they were doing - didn't use the air wrench at all.

I get my tyres from ABC in chippenham. Best prices by far. Give them a call. No affilliation etc but I travel from Cheltenham for my tyres from them. For both my 993 and my E46 M3 (now sold) they import tyres from Continental dealers (new) and get great prices, plus they really take care of your alloys - call you over to inspect them before the tyres removed and after new ones fitted to ensure no damage of any sort.
