Advice Please 996 C4S v 997 C2S
Discussion
Hi,
I have more or less made my mind up to buy a 996 C4S which should see me right for 18 months then I will trade to a 997C4S.
However on close inspection of prices 12-15k more will buy a very low mileage 1 owner 997s.
I haven't seen many comparisons between the 996 and 997 models after scouring the forum for a few pages and various other sites. I know we are comparing an older model with 4wd to a newer model with 2wd but the 997's look so nice in and out.
As for depreciation has will this be less on the 996 C4S, should this be fairly minimal?
Your thoughts please Porsche Pistonheader's! Thanks.

Had an early 996C4 (not S) and then some years later a 997C2S. The latter is a much better car in my opinion. In fact for most practical road purposes the 997C2S is pretty near perfect. A low mileage 1 owner would be a very nice prospect. I sold one in October that only had 5k and was as new. The only difference was I had paid £70k+ for it and sold for £62k. Go for it.
