993....wheel sizes & weights...

A friend has recently purchased a 993 C4 with non-porsche wheels on it. He's looking at replacing these with correct spec items. Does anyone know or can point me in the direction of the correct wheel sizes, weights and styles employed for the entire 993 range?

have a look on the 993 forum on pcgb - lots on there about standard wheel and tyre sizes, fitment, pressures etc. think one of them may be sticky on in the FAQ section.

also look at www.993faq.com/ - think there may be some stuff on there.

I think you'll find it's the other way round, the proper 993 Turbo wheels were indeed hollow spoked, all others (not sure about 996TT) are not.

The 18" hollow spoke wheels were also avaliable as option 408 on any 993. Therefore they are available in both narrowbody and widebody sizes.

Factory 993 wheel choices are basically 16" Cup 2, 17" Cup 2, 17" Targa, 18" Twist hollow spoke, 18" Twist solid spoke.
