Pearlescent orange - the launch colour for the Mk1 GT3.

Isn't this much more orange in real life than on the pics? The orange they did five-seven years ago was grrrreat. Cool colour for a GT3 methinks

In dull overcast weather (ie most of the time up here in N.Wales ) it does appear "Terracotta".

But in bright sunlight it appears as this retina melting and stunning Tango orange..........

Combine that with the fried-egg headlamps to make a recipe I'm rather partial to, though increasingly rare now that Little Chef is on the blink and Porsche have stopped assuming we need a bit of a scare in our lives now and again to remind us we're lucky to be here . I like my breakfasts and my cars dangerous. If my heart hasn't started to pack its bags and look at me crossly when I'm contemplating either, then I sort of lose interest.

A baked-bean coloured GT3 combines all the elements nicely.

The first GT3 I ever saw was a zanzibar coloured one just outside Chester (Ellesmere port). Thought it was stunning at time, still do. Think it was the whole roll cage in a road car thing.

that's going off!

Overwhelmingly unimpressed with zanzibar every time I see it, it's neither one thing or another. A bit like Aventura Green....what's that all about?

If you want an orange car then Vics wins every day of the week....

Colours are oh so personal aren't they.....
