I have a 996 turbo (2002) it has the standard cd player.

The car has been at a OPC for 5 weeks now and I have just had it returned to me today.

The radio is not working at all, I have checked the fuses No 8 and No 9 and found that the sound system fuse was blown (No 9) so I replaced it, but this has not solved the problem.

Are there any further fuses, or has anyone any idea what might be wrong?

The radio on the 996 is highly intelligent. It senses from biochemical scans that you are suffering from flat-six-deprivation in the highest order. Result is that the radio is blocked so you can enjoy the engine sound better until your situation has improved...

no, I have no clue why it doesn't turn on. I'd call the OPC for advice

Have you checked again to make sure it didn't blow as soon as you powered up the radiator?

I'd give them a bell and let them sort it.

Well patently the OPC have stolen your MOJO.

Seek out a velvet suited salesman and negotiate a fix. Or alternatively, go see the service Manager. You'll recognise him from his Neil Diamond CD collection. bounce
