Fellas,

My mate wants to buy a brand new 997 GT3. Our OPC aren't being hugely helpful. (They only want to sell him a 997 C4S for some reason). His preference is for "comfort spec" (if you know what I mean), and he would rather spec the car himself. He would prefer a car delivered after March so it has an 07 plate.

He is a serious buyer and a really top bloke. Does anyone know of a cancelled order etc? Or a place in the queue they don't want any longer? Can anyone help me on this?

Could try ringing round the dealers, or some of the import specialists. Or check out tomorrow's Sun Times classifieds.

Thanks fellas. Big premiums being asked for on those ads on Autotrader.

I have a lead for a build slot at a UK dealer for middle of this year.

Has anyone else got any leads for me please? Thanks.

Are you sure this is not for you? I guess you've finally realised that the 993RS is lacking in performance compared to the GT3. laugh

Hope all is well.

Perhaps you could mail Yetie from this thread as he seems willing to walk away from his order. Might keep a few folk happy.

Hi Jonathan,

All is fine up here. No mate, definitely not for me, although I would like one I think.
