I'm hoping someone can help me out here.

I'm looking for a second set of wheels for my 993 - to be used as summer/trackday wheels.

Ideally I'd like a set of Sport Classic Is - the 17", one piece, BBS design. However these appear to be like rocking horse doo doo.

Accordingly I'm willing to consider alternatives, however, they must be 17s - 7x17 (front) and 9x17 (rear); must be a 1-piece design and I have to like them

Ideally they would also be as light or lighter than my current Cup 2s.

A second set of Cup 2s is an obvious solution, however, since that's what I have now, I'm not awfully keen, but will go that way if I have to, though would really want them to be very cheap.

I've posted a wanted in the classifieds, but previous experience doesn't give me much hope from that. So if anyone has any brilliant ideas or can help me out directly I'd be very grateful.

I 'updated' my old 993 C2 with those wheels a few years ago. Got them from Jasmine Motorsport at one of the Porsche meetings...fitted free on-the-spot... ( and a trade-in on the old 16" wheels ) Might be worth a call to them...good luck !

bit vague but have you seen the ultra light weights wheels Colin Belton has on his 9M rs?

I read they were the lightest he could find and don't look bad either.

Thanks both.

I have tried Jasmine (and various other places) with no luck.

Re. Colin's wheels, no I hadn't noticed them will try to find a pic.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks also for the pic of the 9M RS ... bet those wheels weren't cheap ... I also suspect he's a slightly better driver than me, and might actually benefit from some lightness ...
