993rs at Outwood

seeing the thread on the reshelled gt2 reminded me that I'd seen this 993rs for sale for ages.........

I really like the look of it, but given the rs rarity I'm wondering why it has been for sale for so long?

Well I like Riveria Blue, in fact it was the article in Total911 with that lovely Riviera Blue one this month that made me really start considering an rs.

But I get the impression this is not the one for me.

I think Riviera Blue is the dogs wotsits. Esp. for an RS.

If you are dead keen on the colour I think Martin Pearce of MCP was selling his Riviera Blue RS.

Know nothing about the car, though I have dealt with MCP.

Found the car on his stocklist.

It's supercharged, which I don't really fancy.

It's also £60k!!!!!!! Which I fancy even less.

It was not from the same place as the Black 993GT2 it was the same place as the Red 993GT2 with the Hong Kong history.
It looks a nice car if you squint, however when I was looking at the red GT2 I noticed that the front end paint was very poor the edges of the bonnet had a lot of runs and overspray but more seriously once you open the lid you will see at least one of the wings has been off at some point.
My guess would be that it had seen a lot of track use as it had a Helgo cage and a brand new airbag stearing wheel(maby put back on after being stored?)maby a track day incedent?
Julian dosent take kindley to anyone who questions his opinion of his stock so I dont think I would be welcome again though I have a frend who bought a Bentley from him and thinks he is a great guy and would buy from him again.

Put it this way,move on from it.
Possibly not a rs,if a rs ,has been repaired with standard undersealed panles etc
Also the colour, is not every ones choice,But does look ok.

Bergy its the best colour EVER TO GRACE AN RS I would have all my cars in that colour if I had the choice.
