Took the turbo into Cambridge OPC for wheel balance/geometry setup and intermediate oil change and it's really settled it down.

I'd noticed it getting a little choppy sometimes over cambers and accelerating hard out of bumpy corners, and the front wheels were a bit out of balance, but now it's a beauty again.

It looked like a sale was agreed for next week, but the potential buyer had a change of plan leaving me with the beast for a little longer. Taking good advantage of the greasy roads and newfound handling this weekend, I can't say I'm exactly disappointed.

I've never owned a car that even after a year and 16k+ miles still leaves me excited after a drive.

I suppose I'll update the advert tonight but I can't exactly say I'm motivated to sell it

Ive done the same for a year...i want to sell the tt because i hardly use it..then i drive it and cant believe how accomplished and quick the car is, and contrary to a lot of the old bollox spouted on this forum great fun to drivethumbupWhat else can you buy for 45k ish that gets remotely close in performance, image, comfort?Nailing the tt out of a bend with close to 500 pound of torque pushing the back of the car in to the road is an awesome feeling..in my unbiased opinion of course.

Ahhh, you're back argue punchgrumpy
So kayc, when you've sold the TT, I take it you'll be making a beeline for your nearest OPC to buy a 997 GT3 hehe

I dont think prices are dropping that quickly anymore, the main loss on these cars is paying the ridiculous dealer pricessoapbox

Hi all, i'm new to the porsche world and have been trying to decide between GT3, TT and recently C4S to break me in gently!!

Drove a C4S and a turbo back to back on saturday and the TT is much better, especially with a sports exhaust on. I had a 2000 M5 for a while, and admit to missing monster torque, so i think the TT is the one for me!

Saw a couple of you guys maybe thinking of selling, i'm looking for something in low to mid 40's if thats possible! Can you pls let me know the details if you are?!

Thanks

TT's with sports exhaust? - are you sure you did not drive a 996 Carrera "S". i.e. turbo bodied but normally aspirated as Porsche never developed a sport exhaust for the tt.

There are plenty of aftermarket exhausts for tt's..thats probably what he meant..not like the original pse that they fit on n/a cars that sounds like a goose farting in the foglaugh
