thanks jwb... lesson to be learnt .. dont give the keys of your gt2 to someone who is used to a golf gti.. expecially in the wet....even if the road is a straight...!!

Glad you are back.

p.s. Suggest you don't lend your GT2 keys to anyone Or if you do, make sure you are well clear!

did you have a gt2 Danh... ??? what u think of them...???they are monsters in slippy conditions...my car would often try to light up the tyres in third gear even with new tyres... thats what id loved about it.. you need big respect... which you get from some scares...!! Cant drive them hard in bad conditions....!!

How can you lend the keys and then seat along for the ride... I sometimes lend the keys but can't convince myself to seat in the car!!! Once I did that in a Z3M and did a full 360º... Luckily enough never touched anything but never did it again!

Welcome back. I never cease to marvel how most drivers of modern machinery have lost touch with the basic physics of driving a car! Many of my Ferrari, Lamborghini and more friendly Porsche driving friends cannot get to grips with the challenge of the GT2.

definately need respect. in the wet you've really got to feel the grip available before using so much as 1/2 throttle. magic

Welcome back Kleonard!

Tiago, funny you mention my last car (which I loved) was a black/black Z3M and the last time I sat on her was on the passenger seat and the driver (an ex-friend) totalled her by hit a curb and then a post... at 50mph. The good Lord was with us.

Mine was Bordeaux/Black and we managed to exit the roundabout, do a full 360º, avoid the curb AND the post... All of this on a 2 lane STREET inside town... Raining though!

Ah: welcome back KLeonard and let's hope 2007 turns out better than 2006!!!

Nah, and that's why I didn't get one Can't drive the RS hard in bad conditions either really. Well not on lumpy English roads. I'm more of a normally aspirated type guy anyway - the noble was my foray into turbo charged cars.

Welcome back - If you've seen the pics of Glenns GT3, its the only thing out there to tempt an ex GT2 driver away from another GT2 of course.

Happy hunting !

looks mint, i guess new GT3's and RS's are a premium over list at mo and rare, maybe another GT2 to keep you going ?
