Its a bloody good video huh, well edited by those guys.

Man i forgot just how fast the bugatti was. I was really really going for it (you can hear the ctrs rev's flaring in second when the boost comes in, but it was dialled in nicely so i didnt lose any time from that)

I have watched the video a million times, and i think that in the second race i had a bit more of a jump, but managed pretty damned well.

I loved it though, hope to meet up with the fellow who owns it in 07 for more videos!

Adam, if you watch the vid taken of your CTR from the Veyron- when you give it the beans in 2nd and it comes on boost- watch the ground at rear of the car, you can see it's laying quite a bit of rubber down!!

I've had fast bikes in the past and it feels great to know there's almost no chance of coming up against another vehicle that will out drag you.
I did have some good fun once with a gent in a convertible 911, (well 993 or 996 or whatever it was as they all look the same, you know, silver as they all are, and about 2001 model) we went up to an indicated 165 before I had had enough, and he had the roof down!

Actually i got my videos mixed up, i had major wheelspin my race against the Mclaren SLR as i started in 1st if i recall. I will post that race sometime soon

I think at the time i was a bit of a cheeky monkey and lied through my teeth when i said to the veyron driver that the car "lagged", in second gear there is no lagg It was also the one time the car was one 1.3bar of boost (normal is 1.2 max) as if you turn the boost controller really hard you can gain a bit more power (so power was probably 10bhp maybe to 535bhp i guess)

The Ferrari 599 vs SLR was pretty good too. Love the sound of the SLR.

The SLR was a veritable monster, it was a car length faster than the R turbo too
