Hi,

Looking at buying a 1986 911 (930) 3.2 Carrera Sport (231bhp). Can anyone detail exactly what 'Sport' spec. on this vintage entails as I am really not sure. Many cars are advertised as Carrera and many as Carrera Sport. What are the spec. differences ?

Thanks in advance.

bilstein suspension and a rear spoiler. In truth I do not think that the non carrera sports were sold in the uk. europe had the carrera's with no rear spoiler and koni suspension. The interior trim had nothing to do with it ie. full leather or half leather etc,
hope this is a help,
cheers graeme

I've seen a few 3.2 turbo bodied cabs without the spoilers. Don't know if they were deleted after market but they do look stunning imho.

Also seen quite a few non spoilered 3.2 normal bodied coupes.

Cheers

Ajit.

Thanks for the replies so far, please keep them coming !. Apologies for the 930 designation, clearly wrong, and a silly error on my part being more familiar with 964/993/996's

Just want to ensure that the car is accurately described as being what it is, even if it if counts for not a lot !

Thanks, Meridian
