Sorry guys, I know we've done the Covin thing.

But I stumbled across this alongside some real 911 ads I was looking at, and the description is just hilarious....

I thought the funniest bit was getting through 10 lines of tosh about how fantastic the car is before he mentions that the head gasket's gone.

Yeah sorry about the xmas bash, but I e-mailed Nervy to say I was committed to another apt.

I shudder when I think what I could have saved by buying one of these instead of the real thing!!

Also, I think either JCT Porsche should sue him for libel (defamation?), or real Porsche owners should keep clear of JCT, following his claim JCT staff couldn't tell the difference between his Covin and a real Porsche!

Lol the JCT bit was funny but not as funny as the shock news that in fact all 911's run on beetle floorpans!

And love the fact the body is an "exact replica".

However in the afterbirths defence, I will say its not as bad as that thing that we had on here last time, and the interior isn't actually too bad.

But I have never heard an Rs turbo that sounds like a 911 either turbo or otherwise!

It all made sense when I read this news headline:

"Blunkett Opts for Life in the Fast Lane"

"Former Home Secretary David Blunkett has elected to ditch politics to join a local porsche dealership. He will work in the spares department where his lack of knowledge will be invaluable. Blunkett, 60 next year, said "frankly I can't see the difference between a quick car and a kit car. In fact, I can't see anything at all."

Can't find the picture of a seamless front engine-conversion
(carried out by what looke like a scrap dealer from piccy)

which appeared on E-bay a year or Two back

Is at least on a par with this cutting edge example

wish I could find the bloody pic

And I'll raise you one....

I remember something about a trailer being suggested since the Water pump
sported a couple of sheared bolts

Rich - that's a stunning piece of work.

Does it still have an engine in the back too?

That would be just the ticket for kit car enthusiast. Rear engine driving the rear wheels, front engine driving the front wheels. Beutifully balanced with weight hanging out each end. And all those fun winter nights synchronising the throttle linkage to both engines.

Is that a cologne V6 ford engine ?
Just take a look at the rad, how the flying f*ck did he get air through it ?
Simple answer must be he didn't.
Im off to ebay to ask the seller a question.
mmmmmmmmmmm, now what can it be ?

Its from a couple of years ago, although it might still be on sale due to timewasters I supppose!

It was a Ford something, the Water pump had IIRC seized and his
poundstretcher toolkit had buggered the bolts utterly
And I'm sure it coulden't be driven

On the cooling I seem to remember he'd thoughtfully ground out a giant slit below plate to facilitate airflow
