Looking at the 2 pictures below, i noticed that the caliper on the GT3 is located
lower than on the RS...

I know there was a difference between the 996 GT3 and 996 RS, but thought the 997
ones were the same....??

Or is this just because the RS shown here has ceramics ??

I think i need to get out moreboxedin

Glenn, have you got any proper pictures to do the comparison with? These two are Photoshopped.

This is because the front disks on PCCB are 380mm (350mm on the regular steel disks) with a different caliper.

I'm sure you'll be out plenty when you're new steed arrives driving

Glenn

Waiting for cars is a nightmare. Get over to the Rockies, snows great over there, forget about cars for a few weeks.....your car will be nearly with you when you get back.

With the cheap dollar, that big ring may cost you a bit less too..

Ajit.

I saw a both cars together couple of weeks ago.
The caliper positions looked the same on both cars, but are set lower that other 997's.
According to the product info book the basis for the new GT3 front axle 'is provided by the tried and tested front axle concept from the 911 GT3 RS (996)'
