993 Heated rear window n/w

The dash button lights up when pulled, but the little stripes on the rear window aren't doing their job.

I can't see any breaks in the lines, and I checked the fuse (which stops the switch light from working when pulled) so any ideas what to do next?

I would check the relay next. Not sure which one it is.
