Just watching it on TV, looks awesome, but £4500 plus VAT is a bit steep IMO, might see if I can get sponsorship to fund it!! Anyone done it before, or know anyone that has? How easy is it to get Sponsorship? Whats the Process? I reckon my company can prob fund £2k of it and pay for the stickers.

hehe

The program was somewhat annoying though - it concentrated more on the annoying presenter and Z-list celebs than anything else which was a shame..

Must admit I'm tempted to have a go at it. I found the TV program a bit annoying, spent far too much time interviewing that lad from Emmerdale. The only problem is that it all looks a bit poor man's Gumball to me, those blokes in the swat car for example, very original. Still, the routes and parties looked pretty good.

turned it off and went to sleep half way through, no real car or babe antics.

Did not see the famous GT2 of Lonman though

These events are now completely passe (as far as the celibrity show-off side is concerned). People may have cared when the Gumball first started, but not any more.

I think the car enthusiast event such as Eurohoon represent much better value for money.

Having done one, i won't ever again. It was a great experience, but i think i'd rather save a lot of money and have a lot more fun either on Eurohoon or by setting something up myself with half a dozen mates and a weekend-to-weekend trip. Lots more you could do with 8/9 full days.

Exactly Nervous.

Why not just get a load of mates together and drop the cash on getting tables at the best clubs in the countries you visit?

You are paying a big premium for stickers and maybe 2 milliseconds of TV coverage at 4am on Men and Motors.

Much like Jackass, people stopped being interested a long time ago.

There are plenty of car enthusiast rallies and trips organised that represent much better value for money.

Yeah, i always planned to do one with the missues*... its just finding the time...

*well, based on your 'people you like' statement, i couldnt be bothered trying to find anyone that would like me enough to spend several days in my company, the girlfriend on the other hand is legally obliged to im sure!
