infant seat for 996

I know all to well about child seats for the back of my 996, but has anyone actually used a rear facing infant seat in there's.
I have the airbag deactivation unit fitted, but does anyone use the porsche infant carrier?

Try a search, I'm sure someone posted quite recently about a rear facing seat on the back seats.

I have not used one yet but have been looking into 9X6 child front child seats in general and recently learned that the underseat airbag deactivation bar only works when....

a). it has been correctly programmed via the PST2 / PIWIS system (worth checking if you are not 100% sure), and
b). the spare 'seatbelt-type' plug on the Porsche child seat is plugged into the deactivation bar.
