Guys,

I know this has probably been covered but cant search at the moment!!

Struggling to get anything under £1100 for my 996 at the moment. (am 34 in a good area with 4 points and 9 years no claims).

Any suggestions?

Cheers!

After years of being with specialist insurers I ended up this year with Admiral through confused.com for my 964, they covered the cars modifications and my wife (under 30 yrs old) can drive it, for just over £600.

Try Bel insurance. They are part also part of the admiral group, but are doing some sort of deals for performance cars at the moment.

About 20% cheaper than the next cheapest (Admiral) and a couple of mates.

edit: also add your old man to the policy as suggested. Saved a further £70.

Had a couple of decent quotes from Elephant and Admiral (around £850) but they both want to charge me £300 or so to put it over 12 months........ Thieving gits!!!

Anyone know anyone that doesnt charge for paying monthly?

I use Neil at Harrington Adams. Been with them for years and recommended them many times

0207 377 5850. Good for personal touch rather than "Computer says no ! that the internet firms can suffer from"

Elephant gave me a low quote, much lower than Tesco or Confused (which was hopeless)

Think I will prob. stay with Direct Line , as the differential was quite low.
