Never found the driver to have a chat. Couldn't quite see the need myself.

I also note the unusual exhaust... but at the same time standard 17s.

Naff to me, it's more like a spoiler imo. Bet it's undone a lot of good work by porsche.

Boosted.

Thing is I just don't understand why it's needed. On fastish laps (around 9:00) I found the beautifully pinned down.

Anyway, asthetically I don't like it.

Standard wheels are 18's - the exhaust just looks like stainless steel tailpipes, a tequipment option.

And the spoiler is horrible !

Do not like that wing at all - reminds me of the Boxster one you could get through designsport (IIRC) BUT seeing as that car is running German plates I just wonder if it has specific aero goals for trach use and thus makes perfect sense!

WOW that looks brilliant! I reckon he must get at least 100kg of downforce with that wing. Probably he could drive it on the ceiling at 50 mph. Oh man, I wish I had that car 'cos then I'd look really cool and everyone would see that I was probably a racing driver or something. Probably he's had it tuned so it has like 800 hp or something, yeah. Man thats sweet.

Ugly as it undoubtedly is, perhaps he needs it; perhaps he has something bonkers under the bonnet instead of under his baseball cap?

Assuming it reatracts, why is it in the raised position when parked?

Seen quite a few porkers in london parked up, with their spoilers raised ..... cant quite see the point....

See that all the time. The bankers in their 997s on the way to Canary Wharf/the City all with their spoilers raised at 30mph.... Truly sad.

"Bankers". Yeah. B*stards!

I work in Canary Wharf. For a Bank. And have a Cayman S.

Don't remember ever driving into work with the spolier up.

Actually thinking of it, I don't remember driving into work at 30mph. 3mph perhaps....
