RS Autosport in France, looks a bit dodgy to me, selling a 964 RS N-GT Clubsport with 3.8l lump & a 993 6 speed gearbox er? & a 993 GT2 (993 RS AVEC CG) what ever that means dont sound proper to me and some other specimens of Pork have a look and see what you think, I've already formulated my opinion, Bon apetite

CG stands for Carte Grise, which means that the car is registered for road use, it would be dodgy if it didn't have it not the other way around.
A lot of classified ads for sports cars in France state "avec CG" which basically means you are not buying a car that is on foreign plates or still in the process of being imported.
Edit: or a track car that can be driven on the road.

964 clubsport and 993 clubsport were not road worthy in France, so they did not have a "carte grise." The main reason was that they had a roll-cage, I believe. People who knew French officials could get a carte grise for them, though. On the second hand market, this CG bit, when selling 964, 993 clubsports or cups, is perceived as a bonus (and a well connected former owner).
