Evening all.

Having just picked up my 996 C2 there are a few bits that need replacing.

Need a new set of car mats (bit knackered) and a gear nob (silver/chrome stuff is a little worn.

Anyone know a good place (cost and service etc) where I can get these kind of things?

Cheers!!

If I remember correctly, someone on this board mentions the 986 boxter mats fit the 996? Can anyone confirm?

Design911 have a lot of parts at good prices but they are the RUDEST people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with hehe

I'd just go to OPC and buy Boxster mats (which are actually 996 fronts only!!) and treat yourself ot a nice shiny new knob.

Yup, they're half of a 996 set.

Yup. If you ask for a set of 996 fronts then they say they don't exist as a pair only - you get four.

If you buy Boxster mats then you actually get 996 fronts only....

Gotta love Porsche hehe
