Lot of lag, but lots of fun too.
Pretty quick (143 0-60 6.8) turboochargers need careful looking after (cooling down before switching off). Watch for wear in the dogleg gearbox. Getting rare now.
What year was it? the S2 has slightly more power -177bhp,Digital engine management,the turbo problems were lessened but not eliminated. The fuel economy was a lot better also.
