That looks brilliant - what's the spec?

Thanks Tim,

It's a 1965 SWB 2.0. Engine puts out about 185bhp according to the dyno sheets with the car.
Spec not too much different to as was in period as I intend to race it in a series that requires it to run to FIA appendix K spec (as it does now).

that's in great condition. Did you restore this or buy it as is?

Lovely, especially the Martini stripes.

Only the best cars have them.

Bought as it is, it was restored about 8 years ago. It's going in to see what can be improved upon next week. (preparing for a wallet lightening)

Yes RS is mine too, thankfully MGF on other side isn't

Thats gorgeous!!!

Might have a very nice spare engine and box with LSD for that if a sale falls through!

Very nice.

Saw it at the Coys/Eynsham auction.

Don't forget to let Eoin Sloan know so that he can add you to the Race Car Register and guide you through the new FIA paperwork (if needed).

hehe, mine is the blue one behind, I think it was fair to say Jamie had possibly the best stickers I saw at this years lemans, shame that pic doesn't do it any justice.

must try harder for next year!

Thanks for all the kind comments.

The thing that really strikes me is the size of the old car to the newer one, not sure the pics really do it justice but the 996 seems HUUUGE in comparison! 1965 car weighs less thatn 1000kgs!
