Professional scratch removal - north kent?
Discussion
Until this weekend - I had a number of light scratches on my ocean blue 993 c2s. Over past 4 months of ownership these have become an increasing annoyance. Have tried the scratch X route and various polishes but these have made little/no difference (perhaps doing this wrong or not long enough? ). Scratches look to be in the clear coat to me and not that deep I would say but definitely noticeable depending on angle/light etc. Situation probably now brought to a head as I now have a bunch more self inflicted swirls from weekend on my roof courtesy of my well meaning son who unfortunately didn’t do the required checkpoint with me post dropping his polishing rag on the floor and then carrying on… I didn’t notice in the bright sun on the day but could see the new recruits very clearly in artificial garage light last night! Ahhhh.
Anyway – I am assuming now is the time to seek some profession help and to get a detailer in to try and do the magic I have read about. So my question is - who would you recommend in North Kent catchment area and what cost should I expect if plan is to tackle 2-3 areas of light scratches only. I must admit I am still a little cynical on results claimed but would love to be proved wrong. That said I cannot – currently - bring myself to spend £700+ that I have heard quoted for a ‘proper job’ on some forums. I few hundred and I would be in the market. Recommendations and feedback on my expectations welcome.

Not in Kent but I'd suggest you give these guys a try:

(they're in Docklands)
Have a word with Mike Perry (0207 473 0099). He's a really good guy and I'm sure he can help. Mention my name so I get some brownie points!
PS: If you're up for a Kent Run this Sunday:
