Vibration at 116-124 mph

Could be damaged wheel or...
missing balance weights from wheel (especially if they are stick on currently)
incorrectly placed balance weights
flatspot / damaged tyre surface
a small amount of rubber build up on the inside of the wheel (more likely if you track the car)
carcass of tyre has become slightly deformed
Try getting the wheels re balanced and see if that cures it.. then go from there

ok cheers for that,
yer i did have one front changed over after i killed it on track leaving other side unchanged. This tyre has some evidence of wear on the shoulder rather than uniformly.... this could be due to my crap understeery day or possibly tracking. Either way i guess it could cause an imbalance...

cool hopefuly this is the culprit then ... little bit alarming but it did cruise beautifully at 150
Its not like ill ever have the oppurtunity to go that fast again so i guess i can cope until the next tyre change. AS long as its not symptomatic of something else more worrying

you can come along to a V-max day - The last one I did and indicated 184 and true 178mph
